In light of the recent developments concerning the coronavirus and its associated risks for everyone we are encouraging all GraceLife Church members to carefully consider their health before attending GraceLife functions including our Sunday morning time of worship along with various mid-week studies.
If you are experiencing any cold/flu-like symptoms (I.e. coughing, sneezing, fever, chest/nasal congestion, etc.) indicating the possibility of being ill, please refrain from attending church-related gatherings (I.e. mid-week studies, AWANA, men’s/women’s ministry, etc.) and self-isolate in keeping with health guidelines set out by our federal and provincial health services departments and/or your family physician.
The Elders of GraceLife Church have no desire to contribute to any unwarranted worry or panic. These have no place in the life and heart of any believer in light of our Lord and Savior’s love, wisdom and sovereignty over every aspect of our being. We can have full assurance and confidence that our God knows what is going on and has a purpose for these times we are going through. Nevertheless, we understand our role in being prudent leaders and want to ensure the health and safety of each member to the best extent possible. As such, we are cancelling our regularly scheduled fellowship luncheons for the foreseeable future until such time as this crisis is dealt with. Given the risk and severity of the pandemic we are currently facing we recognize the extraordinary nature of these precautions but believe they are warranted.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Elder Paul by phone, text or e-mail. Thank you for your ongoing love and support of this local church and its ministry!
